Why the boycott of Chinese goods?

Why the boycott of Chinese goods?
Indians have many reasons to be wary of China. The more important amongst them are:
1. China did, in 1962, practically invade India and decided unilaterally to withdraw for reasons that were obscure to Indians;
2. China has always made territorial claims on Indian regions which belong indisputably to India;
3. China has always taken a pro-Pakistan stance and Pakistan is, since independence, India’s enemy number one;
4. China effectively controls the region of the Kailas mountain which is unacceptable to any Indian;
5. China is a military dictatorship and is able to move its forces quickly without letting the world know about its intentions;
6. Claim of China on Tibet is basically unacceptable to the Indian ethos;
7. China is not only a political but also an economical rival of India; and last but not the least,
8. China has a leadership which is well trained in Marshal Arts and military tactics. As against this, Indian leadership is totally devoid of any field experience of battle movements.
It is for this reason that Chakravarti Rajgopalachari warned Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru against possible Chinese incursion. Unfortunately, Nehru did not pay heed to his advice with disastrous consequence that are known to all.

Coming to the present, the so-called ‘inclusiveness’ in the policies of the UPA governments comes out of Sonia Gandhi’s need to stick to power at all costs. The UPA, therefore, uses a motley crowd of minority groups to get its candidates pass first the posts in all electoral battles. This fraternalization has nothing to do with Mahatma Gandhi’s noble philosophical tenets. UPA’s ‘inclusiveness’ is only a manifestation of its desire to remain in power at all costs.
It is remarkable to note that the Swatantra Bharat Paksha, in its 2009 manifesto, had clearly analyzed the rationale of the UPA fraternalization and termed it ‘bahi-bhai’sm. It had also warned the electorate that if the UPA came to power in 2009 North-West India will be gobbled up by Pakistan and the North-East India will be devoured by China.
In 1962, the Chinese incursion was abruptly and unilaterally halted because, as Mr. Nanporia of the Times of India had stated, Generals warned China that China would be very badly placed if it landed its forces South of Himalayas as these forces be caught between the Himalayan wall and the Indian Army. Since 1962, China has been trying to get a foot-hold south of Himalayas which it succeeded in doing because of the pernicious anti-Hinduism of the UPA governments against Nepal, the only Hindu monarch in the world.
Since 1962, China has also succeeded in establishing substantial pro-China naxalite basis in over 240 districts of India. The reasons why China had to withdraw in 1962 prevail no more. That is the reason why Beijing signaled the Leftist to withdraw their support from the UPA government in 2008 as mission of their alliance with UPA was acomplished.
The Chinese intentions in 2013 can only be more serious than they were 50 years back. If an impression prevails in the Chinese rulers’ mind that China has to step into Indian territory to which a hearty welcome from Indians at large, that impression needs to be demolish with full force.
That is the reason why the Swatantra Bharat Paksha, which is now carrying the mantle of Chakravarty Rajgopalachari’s Swatantra Party, has appealed to Indian people at large not to extend their patronage to any goods imported from China.
While an ordinary Indian may not be able to go to the Ladakh frontier for repulsing Chinese incursion, he can certainly mark his protest by participating in the economic boycott of Chinese goods.
